Hi, Wendy here! I am so happy to have you here :) & I thought i would give you a little background on how Uptown Chic Boutique started!

I worked for the best doctors for many many years doing ultrasound, when our office closed I knew I wanted to do something different. I love doing ultrasound but needed something with more flexible hours.

I have always loved fashion, so I decided a clothing boutique was for me. So I ordered my first shipment of clothes and set up shop in a back bedroom at my home. On weekends I set up at flea markets and trunk shows. With the help of some great friends that help me deliver and sell on the side. Shout to Kristen Herring ! We sold so many pair of linen pants I lost count.

It wasn’t long until I took over our carport. Around Christmas of 2014, my husband came home from work, and couldn’t get in the driveway due to all the customers. The next day he said we will look for a storefront tomorrow. We couldn’t find anything that would work, which brings us to where we are now. 439 Hwy 4 West was the place for me.

It hasn’t always been glamorous or easy, but it’s been perfect for me. Uptown wouldn’t be where it is today without all of you!
